To turn on Silence Unknown Callers, go to Settings > Phone, then scroll down, tap Silence Unknown Callers, and turn on the feature. Calls from unknown numbers are silenced and sent to your voicemail, and appear in your recent calls list.

In October, a man who was lost for 24 hours while hiking in Colorado ignored repeated phone calls from rescue teams because the calls came from unknown numbers. He also ignored their texts and voicemail messages.
Another number you can use to trace a call is *57. This is the number to use if you believe a scam or spam caller is harassing you. *57 gets you the phone number and call information *69 does, but it goes above and beyond.
Since phone companies have records of your previous calls, they usually provide their customers with an Anonymous Caller ID service. Depending on your carrier, you can activate the *57 service. The unknown caller sends Simon a text message asking for help when Simon nears the apartments. When Simon reaches the fourth floor, he sends another text telling Simon that he is inside a room. When Simon enter the rooms, he discovers the caller is dead in a bath tub, full of blood.
The unknown caller wears a large, dark green coat and black pants. He is bald and looks to be in around 30 years old. Little is known about the caller and his relevance to Simon, but given his appearance in Cry of Fear, it is likely he has been connected to Simon during his life at some point.

There are a few different ways you can see a No Caller ID number, and I'll walk you through them so you can identify unknown callers in the future to protect your sanity and your safety.
Once you have this information, you can call the number back and attempt to remove yourself from the call list. However, don't be surprised if this method is ineffective. The best bet for making sure you don't receive calls from them anymore is simply to block the number.
